First Day Hike at Tumalo State Park

Join us for a First Day Hike along the Deschutes River Trail in Tumalo State Park.  Meet at Tumalo State Park Day Use fee machine at 10:00 am on January 1, 2025.  The parking fee is waived on January 1, so parking is free for the event.  Please arrive on time, as the hike leader will depart at 10:05 am.  The hike is approximately three miles round trip and 1.5 hours duration.  Be prepared for cold temperatures and snow on the trail.  Bring water and snacks, water is not available at the Day Use area.  Day Use restrooms are closed, a portable toilet is on site.
