First Day Hike - Morning on Point Trail

For hikers looking for an morning walk, meet at the second car parking area of the Crooked Run/Prince Gallitzin State Park campground, off Beaver Valley Road.  We will walk to Point Trail, cross Beaver Valley road, and loop from Forest Trail to Deer Trail and back to our starting point.  This hike will include sloping forested areas with single line hiking on dirt paths.  Enjoy looking for tracks of common wildlife species under a mixed forest canopy.  Approximately 2 miles total hike.  Restrooms are available at Beaver Valley Marina, Beaver Dam Launch, or Killbuck boat launch.

Venue: Prince Gallitzin State Park, Meet at the Second Car Parking area of the Crooked Run/Prince Gallitzin State Park campground, off Beaver Valley Road.
